Everything worth knowing before you book at Marimel.
Where are the Marimel Apartments?
In the Marimel Building, Pasaje Fuente de Cantarero, 7, in the centre of Nerja (Málaga). On foot you are 9 minutes from Carabeillo beach, 11 from the Balcón de Europa and 14 from Burriana beach. Villa Marimel is in a different location, in Frigiliana, about 15 minutes' drive from the centre of Nerja.
How do I check availability and book?
Choose your check-in and check-out dates and the number of guests in the search box. You will see which properties are free and their total price. Clicking “Book” takes you to the Inmobiliaria Cánovas booking engine, where you choose your rate and pay securely.
What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is from 16:00 and check-out is by 10:00. Villa Marimel does not accept arrivals after 22:00. If you need different times, ask us before booking.
What is the cancellation policy?
It depends on the rate you choose. With the flexible rate, cancellation is free up to 14 days before arrival; after that, or if you don't show up, 100% of the stay is charged. The non-refundable rate is discounted from the standard price and does not allow changes or cancellations.
Is there a minimum stay?
Yes, it varies by season and property: usually 2 nights in low season and longer at busy times. The search box tells you the minimum stay if your dates don't meet it. Online bookings must be made at least 3 days in advance; for sooner arrivals, call us.
Are there apartments for families?
Yes. Apartments 101, 102, 201 and 202 have two bedrooms (a double bed and two single beds) and a sofa bed, for up to 5 people. Apartments 104 and 204 and Loft 001 sleep up to 4 with a double sofa bed. Villa Marimel sleeps up to 6 and has a cot.
What is included?
All the apartments are renovated and have air conditioning, heating, free WiFi, a Smart TV, a kitchen equipped with a coffee maker, a washing machine, bed linen and towels. The building has a rooftop sun terrace with loungers, artificial grass, an outdoor shower and a chill-out area.
Is there parking?
The apartments don't have their own parking space; in the centre of Nerja you won't need a car to get around. Villa Marimel has parking for two cars and you do need a vehicle to get there: the road is fully paved and narrow in places.
Are pets allowed?
Yes. Your pet is welcome in all nine Marimel Apartments and at Villa Marimel. Let us know when you book and we'll confirm the conditions before you arrive. Smoking indoors and parties are not allowed in any property.
